Patch Notes – Wuthering Waves 1.1
Wuthering Waves has introduced a host of exciting new features and improvements in its 1.1 „Thaw of Eons“ update.
New Resonators and Weapons
The update brings three new 5-star Resonators and two new 5-star Weapons:
- Jinhsi (Thawborn Renewal)
- Changli (Vermillion's Ploy)
- Ages of Harvest (Absolute Pulsation)
- Blazing Brilliance (Absolute Pulsation)
New Area and Bosses
Mt. Firmament can now be unlocked by completing the Main Quest „A New Companion.“ Players will encounter new challenges, with Elite Class bosses such as:
- Sentinel Jue
- Lumiscale Construct
- Lightcrusher
- Glacio Dreadmane
Additionally, there are several new Common Class enemies including:
- Dwarf Cassowary
- Lava Larva
- Clang Bang
Story and Quests
Patch 1.1 adds Chapter 1 Act 7 „Thaw of Eons“ to the Main Quest. Changli's Companion Story: Immortal Blaze also makes its debut.
Events
Several limited-time events have been introduced:
Gifts of Gratitude and Gifts of Celestial Light offer exclusive login rewards. Players can also participate in:
- Mt. Firmament Area Events
- Depths of Illusive Realm – Dreams Ablaze in Darkness
- Tactical Simulacra
- Lollo Campaign
Gameplay Enhancements
The update brings multiple gameplay optimizations:
- New Phantom Appearances: Altered versions of Lightcrusher and Clang Bang
- New Tactical Hologram: Crownless
- New Dishes: Sweet & Sour Pork, Lemon-Braised Pork, Caltrop Stir Fry, Stuffed Tofu boost different gameplay aspects.
Tuner Synthesis
Medium and Advanced Tuners can now be synthesized into higher-grade Tuners using the Synthesis feature.
Echoes and Tacet Field Adjustments
- Gameplay of the Tacet Field has been optimized.
- Drop rates for Elite Class Echoes have been increased.
- Shell Credits required to upgrade Echoes have been reduced.
- Data Bank level cap raised to 21, ensuring all Echoes obtained thereafter are of 5-Star Rarity.
- Additional Union EXP is now awarded for unlocking new Echo entries.
Daily Activity and Rewards
- More daily Activity Points tasks have been added, lowering the difficulty of earning these points.
- Incomplete Echoes have been removed from the 100 Daily Activity Points reward pool.
- Overlord, Calamity, and Elite Class Echoes (Cost 3-4) will now be provided as rewards.
Map and Quest Enhancements
- The new Mt. Firmament area now features a Layered Map.
- Some Area Quests now contribute to Exploration Progress, facilitating 100% area completion.
- Lootmapper detection range has been expanded.
- Area Quests tracking can now be done via Map > Exploration Progress > Area Quests.
Gallery Enhancements
- Resonators gallery feature Crossing Stars has been added to the Gallery.
- Main Quests and Companion Stories recap feature is now available.
Quest Unlock Adjustments
- Requirement to unlock Main Quest Chapter 1 Act 4: Clashing Blades is changed from Union Lv. 14 to Union Lv. 11.
- Union Level requirements to unlock Main Quests Chapter 1 Act 5: Rewinding Raindrops and Act 6: Grand Warstorm have been removed. These will now become available upon completion of preceding chapter quests.

Compensations
Kuro Games will award compensations to all players for the downtime during the server maintenance and bug fixes. Players can receive 600 Astrites and 2 Crystal Solvents by checking their in-game Mail. These compensations will be available 6 hours following the launch of the update, offering a time-limited window before the version 1.2 update arrives. To claim these rewards, players must log into the game and collect them from the Mail section.
