Vitality Enter Call of Duty Warzone

Vitality has officially introduced their Call of Duty: Warzone roster in anticipation of the Esports World Cup and the World Series of Warzone Global Finals. This marks a significant step for the organization as it expands into the competitive Call of Duty scene.

The move aligns with recent developments in the esports landscape, notably the inclusion of MW3 and Warzone in the Esports World Cup roster. This strategic decision follows similar actions by other major organizations, such as the signing of the New York Subliners by Cloud9. Vitality's new team is set to make waves in the upcoming competitions.

Patzukka, Enxiun, and Stewo join Vitality

Vitality has returned to the Call of Duty scene with a dynamic international roster. The team includes Joni „Patzukka“ Nikkanen from Finland, Henrijs „Enxiun“ Kukulitis from Latvia, and Steve „Stewo“ Fuckner from Germany. This trio has a history of strong performances, having consistently achieved top positions in European tournaments of the World Series of Warzone.

The team's recent achievements have earned them spots in both the Esports World Cup, starting on July 3, and the World Series of Warzone, known as the World Championship of Warzone, which features the year's top 34 teams.

Vitality’s Warzone Entry: A Bid for $20 Million

Vitality has entered the competitive Warzone scene, intensifying the race for the $20 Million prize pool at the Esports World Cup (EWC). With their addition, Vitality is now competing in seven distinct games within the EWC. This expansion is strategically supported by the Club Support Program, which offers financial backing to organizations entering new titles.

The Club Support Program includes Vitality among 30 other member teams, all receiving subsidies to mitigate the costs associated with expanding into new gaming arenas. This financial support arrives at a crucial time when many esports teams are cutting back due to financial pressures, providing these teams with the ability to grow their rosters and strive for success.

Fabien „Neo“ Devide, co-founder and President of Team Vitality, expressed excitement about this new chapter: „I'm delighted to be welcoming another new team to the hive as we set our sights on the club championship at Esports World Cup. Call of Duty was a foundational title for Team Vitality, and I look forward to seeing this awesome roster perform on the biggest stage of them all.“

Vitality’s Warzone roster includes:

  • Joni „Patzukka“ Nikkanen
  • Henrijs „Enxiun“ Kukulitis
  • Steve „Stewo“ Fuckner

These strategic moves reflect Vitality’s commitment to remaining a major player in the esports world, with their Warzone team poised to bring home a portion of the substantial prize money.
