How to Remove Affinity
In Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB), Affinity is a feature that represents the connection and play frequency with other players. Due to limited slots for Affinity, players must choose wisely which friends to maintain a strong gaming bond with.
When circumstances change, such as a fallout with a friend or if they become inactive, there might be a need to adjust Affinities. This process allows players to remove old connections and make room for new ones, ensuring their gaming experience remains dynamic and enjoyable.
How to Remove Bonds in ML
To remove bonds with friends in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, follow these easy steps to manage your relationships in the game.
First, launch the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang application on your device. Within the app, locate and tap on the Friends List icon, which is situated under the area displaying your online and offline friends. Then, choose the Close Friends tab to filter your list to show individuals with whom you have close connections.
Once there, search for the specific friend from whom you wish to erase your bond. Next to their name, you will find a Trash Can icon on the right side of their row. Tap this icon to start the process of removing the bond.
After tapping the trash can, a prompt will appear asking you to confirm the removal of the bond. Confirm your action to proceed. This action triggers an in-game request to your friend, asking them to also confirm the bond cancellation. If they agree, the process completes. If they remain unresponsive for seven days, the system automatically finalizes the bond removal.
For friends who have been inactive for more than 30 days, the request for bond removal is approved immediately without additional confirmation. Should you and the friend wish to rebuild the bond later, you can do so under categories like Partners, Bros, Besties, and Confidants, with previous records maintained.
If completely eradicating the bond progress is the goal, removing the friend from your list is necessary. This action deletes all Affinity and Familiarity records. Re-adding them later means starting anew with no previous progress saved.
