League of Legends is set to captivate fans with one of its most thrilling competitive seasons to date. As players and enthusiasts anticipate the new challenges and team matchups, the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) is kicking off the year with a unique event.
The LCK circuit will host the 2025 Season 1, entitled „Welcome to Noxus,“ on January 10th, assembling top professional players for a memorable showdown. This event marks the beginning of an exciting journey in the world of professional esports, promising intense competition and fresh dynamics on the field.
How to Watch the Event
The event can be watched live on the official League of Legends Champions Korea platforms, specifically on their YouTube and Twitch channels. It begins on January 10 at 6 p.m. KST. For viewers in different time zones, here’s a helpful schedule:

Team Selection
Top Lane Team
Representing the top lane, five formidable players form this group. From Hanwha Life Esports, Choi „Zeus“ Woo-je stands alongside OK BRION's Park „Morgan“ Ru-han. The leader, Gen.G's Kim „Kiin“ Gi-in, guides the lineup. DRX's Lee „Rich“ Jae-won and Damwon Kia's Jeon „Siwoo“ Si-woo complete the team.
Jungle Team
In the jungle role, the lineup showcases top-tier talent. Gen.G's Kim „Canyon“ Geon-bu joins forces with Nongshim RedForce's Lee „Sylvie“ Seung-bok. Tournament Structure
Each team in the event will engage in a competitive mini-game known as „Physical 30,“ the details of which remain a mystery. The captain of the victorious team has the unique privilege of determining the complete tournament bracket. Every matchup follows a best-of-one (Bo1) format and the right to choose sides goes to the team achieving the better result in the mini-game.
Rewards
The triumphant team in the initial 2025 LCK event will have the chance to select 100 League of Legends skins for each player, totaling 500 skins, to present to fans. Additionally, the Most Valuable Player will be awarded a monetary prize of 1 million KRW.
