Halo Infinite Operation Launch
Halo Infinite has introduced the latest Operation Anvil update, bringing a fresh 20-tier Operation Pass along with a new Big Team Battle mode. The update, which launched on July 2, 2024, offers players a chance to unlock Sangheili-themed ASSAILER armor and a new emblem until the event concludes on July 30, 2024.
This update also features a community-created map alongside free items that honor Disability Pride Month and Juneteenth. Since its release in 2021, Halo Infinite has continuously expanded its content, with 343 Industries striving to deliver exciting new multiplayer experiences.
Halo Infinite Releases Operation Anvil Update
The latest update for Halo Infinite, named Operation Anvil, brings substantial enhancements and content to the game. A notable feature of this update is the Operation Pass, available in two tiers. For 500 credits, players can make the Operation Pass durable, providing bonus XP during the live period. This tier also includes an extra Challenge slot and an exclusive customization item. Alternatively, players can unlock all 20 tiers of the Operation Pass for 2,000 credits. Both tiers offer the new Smash and Grab weapon model for the M41 SPNKr and the Rent Seeker weapon coating.
Sentry Defense, a new mode for Big Team Battle, stands out in this update. Borrowing from the Halo Infinite campaign, this mode features Adjutant Resolution, one of Zeta Halo’s Submonitors. Players are divided into two teams, with the primary goal of destroying the opponent's sentry while safeguarding their own. Each team begins with 2,000 points, which diminish as their sentry sustains damage. The match concludes when one team's points drop to zero. The Sentry Defense mode can be played on various maps:
- Fragmentation
- Highpower
- Deadlock
- Oasis
- Scarr
- Command
This update comes after 343 Industries decided to shift away from seasonal content updates earlier this year. Instead, they are focusing on smaller, more frequent releases, such as Operation Anvil. The July update also introduces a community-made Big Team Battle map called Command. Moreover, players will find several free items celebrating Disability Pride Month and Juneteenth, available simply by logging into the game. These items include a new armor coating, visor, and emblem.
Halo Infinite continues to evolve with these new updates, reflecting a commitment to keeping the gameplay fresh and engaging. The Operation Anvil update not only offers new content but also addresses player preferences by including community-created elements and special celebrations. This ensures a dynamic experience for both new and veteran players alike.
