Dragons Dogma 2 June Update

Dragon's Dogma 2 has seen a series of updates aiming to enhance the player experience through various quality-of-life improvements. The latest update introduces several key features, including expanded storage capacities, new graphical settings, and essential bug fixes. Players can now store a larger number of items, sell or equip armor directly from the storage menu, and enjoy improved graphics options like 120Hz output on consoles.

In addition to these enhancements, the new update resolves numerous issues that have affected gameplay. With tweaks such as more frequent oxcarts and fixes for rare item drops, the developer Capcom continues to refine the game. Updates for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam

Storage System Enhancements:

  • Players can now sell items directly from the storage menu.
  • Equipping armor is easier, as players can now do so from the storage menu itself.
  • When changing vocations at the vocation guild, it is now possible to equip armor straight from storage.

Vocation Guilds:

  • The storage capacity for items has been significantly increased, allowing up to 999 units of a single item, up from the previous limit of 99.
  • If an item exceeds the storage limit, the maximum allowable amount is automatically stored.

Quality of Life Improvements:

  • Added the ability to toggle the Arisen's visibility in photo mode.
  • Adjusted field mechanics to make oxcarts more easily locatable.

Bug Fixes and Adjustments:

  • Resolved an issue preventing the acquisition of Venator's Leggings, Ring of Predominance, and Comforting Neck Wrap.
  • Fixed errors that allowed players to access unintended areas.
  • Corrected pricing discrepancies for precious stones in Vermund stores.
  • Addressed problems where the oracle's guidance did not consider the death of a necessary character.
  • Fixed issues with gathering points that did not regenerate until a new playthrough.
  • Corrected displayed NPC portraits that were incorrect.
  • Resolved inconsistencies related to the door in the Ancestral Chamber.
  • Fixed hair display problems for characters of the maximum height.
  • Addressed issues related to CPU overload in select situations.
  • Applied multiple miscellaneous bug fixes for stability and performance improvements.

Updates for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S

Graphics Settings:

  • Introduced an option to choose between high and low graphics settings. This change aims to offer more versatility in graphics and performance, particularly in heavily populated areas like town centers.
  • Players can enhance frame rates by selecting low graphics settings, leading to smoother gameplay.

120Hz Output:

  • Introduced an option to toggle 120Hz output, providing a smoother visual experience for those with compatible monitors. It is important to note that this setting does not ensure a consistent 120 fps.
