The latest update to FragPunk brings a variety of changes aimed at balancing gameplay, enhancing user experience, and addressing some existing issues. As these adjustments have been implemented, players will need to restart their games to see the changes in effect.
Weapons Adjustments:
- Bad Moon-S Marksman Rifle: Its damage is now set to 48 for targets within 15 meters and 45 for those beyond that range.
- Burner Grenade Launcher: It now carries only one incendiary grenade, down from two. Additionally, explosions and burning sounds have been enhanced for greater in-game audio clarity.
Lancers Changes:
- Jaguar’s Skill ‚I Can See For Miles‘: Detection radius expanded to 25 meters from its previous 10 meters.
- Corona’s Skill ‚Hothead‘: The blinding effect now extends to a range of 30 meters, up from 15 meters.
- Nitro's Skill Placement: Their skill called ‚The Wall‘ has a more refined placement area for better tactical use.
General Game Updates:
- Movement and Audio: Overall movement speed has been increased, and the sound of footsteps has been optimized for better auditory feedback.
- Player Anonymity: The option to hide player names has been deactivated to aid in the investigation of dishonest behavior in the game.
Shard Cards Modifications:
- Big Heads: The headshot multiplication factor has been lowered.
- Death’s Embrace, Itchy Triggers, Eagle Eyes: These cards now require more shard points: four, five, and three, respectively.
- Painful Motivation: This card now requires just two shard points, reduced from four.
- Infernal Hounds: Health has been significantly decreased to 50 from the prior 130.
Outbreak Mode Update:
- Lancer Spider: Currently not accessible in Outbreak mode.
Bug Fixes:
- Character Animation Fixes: Addressed problems with erratic banner animations for specific characters.
- Spider Skill Issues: Resolved visual discrepancies with the ‚Spirited Away‘ skill.
- Boundary Exploit Correction: Fixed areas where players could unfairly access out-of-bounds locations.
- Shard Card Error: Fixed ‚Return to Sender‘ card so it now correctly interrupts defusal processes.
- Challenge Refreshing and Completion: Rectified issues with recurring challenges not updating and some club tasks being unfinishable.
