In addition to the new map, players can expect to encounter the Collective of Plenty tribe, alongside the formidable Tatankasaurus, a beast known for its ability to destroy large rocks. Another highlight of this update is the Tournament of Glory in Bloom, a vibrant event that reintroduces a traditional competition from the Natlan region. Participants in this event have the chance to engage with revered Natlan characters such as Ifa, while also reaping rewards like Ororon through various bonuses.

During the first phase of Genshin Impact 5.5, which runs from March 26 to April 15, 2025, players will encounter an exciting set of characters. At the forefront is Varesa, a five-star Electro Catalyst user who excels with her Plunging Attacks. These attacks initiate her Fiery Passion mode, greatly enhancing her Electro damage and reducing the cost of her Elemental Burst. Her passive ability aids in restoring energy post food consumption. Along with Varesa, Xianyun, a five-star Anemo Catalyst wielder, also takes the spotlight.

Iansan, a newly introduced four-star character with Electro affinity, uses a Polearm and acts as a supportive role. Her abilities not only increase attack stats but also heal party members. She can enhance off-field attack strength for the active character based on their movement distance, and her healing capacity is boosted through allies‘ special bursts. Vivid Notions, a fresh five-star Catalyst weapon, is introduced during this phase, adding strategic depth to gameplay.

The second phase takes effect from April 16 to May 6, 2025. This phase highlights Xilonen, a five-star Geo Sword user. Alongside him, Venti returns as a five-star Anemo Catalyst specialist, famed for his crowd-control capabilities.
