Today's Overwatch 2 Update: November 12

Changes for Tank Characters

The latest adjustments in Overwatch 2's Season 13 impact several tank characters including Doomfist, Junker Queen, and Mauga. For Doomfist, the changes aim to make his abilities more impactful. The Rocket Punch now requires a 55-degree angle for a wall slam, allowing for more strategic gameplay. His Meteor Strike ultimate is now more accessible, with an 8% reduction in cost, and he heals at an increased rate while airborne, moving from 75 to 90 HP per second.

Turning to Junker Queen, her Jagged Blade has become more precise with a base projectile size reduction from 0.2 to 0.15 meters. Changes to her Adrenaline Rush mean a decrease in the self-healing multiplier, which is now 2.25x, down from 2.5x. Mauga sees an increased frequency in using his Overrun, as its cooldown is reduced to 5 seconds, with a noticeable enhancement of 15% in his speed during the charge.

Updates for Damage Characters

Damage-dealing heroes have also received notable updates. Hanzo can charge his Storm Bow quicker, now down to 0.80 seconds from 0.87. Additionally, his Dragonstrike ability has been expanded to affect buildable enemy structures. Junkrat, on the other hand, will have to wait longer between Concussion Mines as the cooldown increases by one second.

Reaper's lifesteal ability, The Reapening, has been adjusted to now heal for 30%, reduced from 35%. Meanwhile, Tracer experiences a tactical advantage with her Recall cooldown being shortened to 12 seconds. This allows her to escape precarious situations more efficiently.

Adjustments for Support Characters

Support characters see various enhancements to improve their healing and utility roles. Ana benefits from increased output on her Biotic Rifle, which now deals and heals 75 points, up from 70. For Juno, her Orbital Ray ultimate requires more careful planning, given the 10% increase in cost.

Kiriko experiences faster reaction times with a decreased recovery time on her Kunai, now at 0.5 seconds. Her mobility and protective capabilities are enhanced with reduced cooldowns on Swift Step and Protection SuzuLifeweaver's Lifegrip cooldown is lowered to 18 seconds, while his healing sees a boost from 50 to 75. The duration before Tree of Life overhealth begins to drain has also been lengthened significantly. Lastly, Moira benefits from an improved Biotic Grasp, providing self-healing of 30 HP per second, up from 24.
