LoL patch 14.14 preview
League of Legends Patch 14.14 brings significant changes to both jungle and lane dynamics. AP junglers, especially those dependent on the Fated Ashes item, will see nerfs that may impact their viability. Conversely, AD solo laners such as Jayce, Zed, and Irelia will benefit from buffs aimed at making them more competitive choices in the top and mid lanes.
Marksmen in the bot lane are currently performing well, but Aphelios and Smolder have been underperforming. In response, Patch 14.14 includes buffs for both, with the intent of making them stronger picks in their role. Meanwhile, the update also offers adjustments for various champions to encourage alternative playstyles.
Aurelion Sol’s ability to poke in the early game is getting toned down, but he will see improvements in other parts of his kit. Milio, on the other hand, is receiving a buff to his early harass potential, encouraging a more aggressive playstyle.
Two notable skin lines are also featured in this patch. The Anima Squad skins, which include themes for champions like Miss Fortune, Sylas, and Riven, make their debut. Faerie Court Skins are also being highlighted, adding a whimsical new look for several champions.

LoL Patch 14.14 Release Date Revealed
The LoL patch 14.14 will be available on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 (PT). Alongside the update, the Anima Squad skin line makes its debut. This collection brings futuristic-themed skins for champions such as Seraphine, Aatrox, Yuumi, Leona, Xayah, Illaoi, Aurora, Yasuo, Bel’Veth, Briar, and Rek’Sai. Additionally, players can experience the new Swarm game mode. This mode is a bullet-heaven survival experience where players can use the Anima Squad skins while dodging complex bullet patterns and fighting to stay alive.
