One of the new Resonators anticipated in Wuthering Waves 1.2 is Zhezhi. She possesses round glasses that gently obscure her eyes, which glow with soft pink and blue hues. Her dark brown hair features highlights in the same colors, suggesting a potential connection to a Havoc element due to the pink tint.

Kuro Games portrays Zhezhi as a reserved character with a profound passion for painting. Her name, meaning „the art of paper folding“ in Chinese, hints at her artistic nature. This love for art may play a significant role in her abilities, possibly incorporating splashes of color and origami into her skill set.

Xiangli Yao – Wuthering Waves 1.2

The second confirmed Resonator is Xiangli Yao, a character already generating buzz among players. With light brown to white hair and a modern, robotic design, he made his first appearance at Huaxu Academy in Jinzhou, alongside Mortefi during an early quest.

Players are drawn to Xiangli Yao due to his striking design, featuring a robotic arm and a resemblance to Lee-Hyperreal from Kuro Games‘ previous title, Punishing: Gray Raven. His role as the Principal Investigator specializing in Automata Mechanics suggests that his skills will likely revolve around a futuristic, technological theme.
