Does Valorant on Console Have Ranked

VALORANT's transition to console brings a familiar yet distinct experience for players. While the maps, Agents, and weapons remain consistent, the journey through the ranked ladder offers its own set of challenges and rewards. Players can now engage in competitive matches, aiming for the prestigious Radiant rank, using their controllers.

After an initial waiting period post-beta, console players now have the opportunity to dive into ranks just like their PC counterparts. The ranked system on console mirrors the PC experience, with similar placement matches and rank structures, providing a cohesive competitive environment across platforms.

When does the ranked mode release for VALORANT on console?

Starting from Wednesday, June 26, players can access the Competitive queue in VALORANT on console. This follows the recent announcement about changes in the update rollout process, which now sees content arriving a day or two after the patch implementation. Players eagerly anticipating this update can finally test their skills and climb the ranks to become top-tier console players.

Does your rank from VALORANT on PC carry over to console?

Ranks achieved on VALORANT for PC do not transfer to the console version. Each platform maintains its own separate ranking system. Although players can enjoy cross-platform progression for account levels and skins, their competitive rank will not synchronize between PC and console. VALORANT's development team built the console version as a distinct experience, accounting for the specific challenges and limitations of console controllers. Consequently, this creates a unique opportunity for players to achieve the prestigious Radiant rank separately on both platforms.
